We are looking for a dynamic, creative Full-Stack Web Developer to join the Communications Office. Our team is one of the nation’s premier communication offices and produces award-winning multimedia content with in-house graphic design, video production, photography and writing professionals. We are now looking to add a web developer to help us produce a dynamic, customer-centric website that provides our residents with easy access to programs and services anytime, anywhere and on any device.
We’re currently working with more than 30 departments across the organization to help them communicate their services and deliver on their missions in a user-centered way. We will accomplish this by:
- putting the needs of the residents first;
- being design-centric, agile, open, and data-driven; and
- deploying our products early and often.
The ideal candidate will possess a clear and persuasive communication style, a commitment to customer service, collaboration and teamwork, an orientation toward innovation and creativity, and an ability to maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Candidates must have a strong portfolio of web development experience and possess basic knowledge of common JavaScript frameworks, as well as extensive experience translating design into reusable UI/UX components. In particular, the candidate should have proficient talent in implementing an open source CMS and integrating with front end solutions via API.

ENTRY SALARY RANGE: $62,029.50 – $83,674.50
