Washington State University seeks a Senior WordPress Developer to develop websites, plugins, themes and solutions for the WordPress multi-network platform at WSU (WSUWP); migrate data and websites to WSUWP; and train WSU staff in the WSUWP platform. The position requires a bachelor’s degree and three (3) years professional experience (relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis). Additional requirements include a minimum of five (5) years of professional web development experience, WordPress platform experience, modern development workflows and software experience, excellent communication skills, and proficient coding with CSS, PHP, and/or JavaScript. Preferred qualifications: working on a WordPress development team, contributing to WordPress community and core, writing documentation, training clients to use WordPress, and working with NGINX web servers.
