Client has six sites as subdomains and two other sites with their own domains. We want to work with someone with expert experience in merging standalone WP sites into a WP Multisite install. We plan to use DigitalOcean hosting and the expert will be also tasked with configuring the new site for all multisite, domain, etc issues as well as recommending and installing/configuring plugins to allow accounts to post from one blog to multiple blogs and maintain their logins across all blogs. Similar plugins are used on most sites and only two themes. Primarily Avada.
I am comfortable w/Multisite but want you to take the lead on this. You should have a deep background on this sort of project.
We will test this with a few sites, check for plugin issues and resolve those first, then we’ll schedule an execute the full migration which will happen either on Sat/Sunday or after 6pm eastern US time to minimize downtime for clients.
