EleyDigital is a small digital marketing agency looking for an experienced WordPress developer to assist us in developing new WordPress websites based on popular theme frameworks, customizing websites, and maintaining websites. Below are a few examples of work you would be doing regularly:
- Use membership plugins and custom code to create a company intranet on a client’s WordPress website
- Update and upgrade websites, plugins, and themes and test to ensure sites are functioning properly
- Create custom post types and tweak theme files to add customizations to client websites
- Optimize websites for SEO and mobile accessibility
- Create landing pages optimized for conversions to be used in advertising campaigns
- Troubleshoot errors and issues caused by theme/plugin conflicts and WordPress updates
We prefer 3-5 years of WordPress development experience, proficiency in programming PHP, some JavaScript skills, and basic understanding of SEO and CRO best practices.
