Hello, we are looking for someone to help code a plugin for WP that will be used to authenticate users against an Oracle database. You will get API documentation plus a contact person at Oracle to work with. It is a WP-multi site installation. Users need to authenticate against Oracle and then be granted access to specific groups based on the authentification. Other permissions like forum moderator will also need to be read from the database properties.
We are looking for now for short-term assistance coding and creating this plugin, needs a quick turn around, but if this engagement works well we are certainly open to follow up work together.
You will be working with Fountain City: https://fountain-city.com which is a group of friendly professional people. We all telecommute and work from home. Our clients are very diverse and span from US coast to coast.
You should have good spoken english and can be on calls with us and the customer to answer questions and get answers. You will need to email and track progress with other members of the team. You should also have strong communication soft-skills at managing your estimates, time expectations and you should be able to provide time-cost estimates you can stick to and will respect (unless the client or something changes of course).
