I am looking for a full-stack WordPress developer to join my team. If you know how to API develop, that’s even better!
The position is contract-to-hire. Expected hours of work is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
The company I work for is Insperity, located in Kingwood, TX – a suburb of Houston.
We are part of the marketing team and create everything the company needs to generate net new leads or to retain the clients we currently have.
Think of us as an in-house agency!
The team consists of account managers, project managers, developers, designers, writers, video team, events team etc.
We follow agile methodologies and work on multiple projects within a 2-week cycle.
I don’t really care where you work as long as you get the work done. If you live close by, we ask you join us for our big meetings that are better done face to face than via zoom like our cycle planning meeting (every other Tuesday), our adhoc contexting and roadmapping sessions and our group team outings.
So if you are an expert at:
– WordPress (theme development, child theme development, plugin development, multi-site development etc.)
– Have a great eye for design (can replicate pixel perfect the custom designs produced in sketch and photoshop in WordPress; using bootstrap 3 and 4 to write great CSS media queries and compile them in SAAS)
– Have worked with beaverbuilder before and know how to use it efficiently for one-off landing pages
– Are a javascript ninja and can create slick animations using node.js, jquery, react.js, gulp, grunt, etc.)
– Know how to use bower.io and composer
– Have worked with ninja forms 3 before
– Used git and GitHub for versioning control
– Are fast at executing
– Great at testing your work in all browsers, devices
– Always learning, always improving
– Have worked in WordPress 5.0 already and created Gutenberg modules
– Developed custom APIs using PHP
– Have a good attitude about life and people in general. No one wants to be around a grumpy person!
