A little bit about us:
Hoops Institute is a Website Design & Online Marketing company, specifically for Basketball Trainers.
Our Website Design service utilizes the WordPress Multisite platform.
We use this to create new template sites when clients sign up for our services and manage their website for them.
We’re looking for a full-time WordPress Developer who will have 4 main tasks.
1. Setting up our client’s templated websites and plugins with the proper settings and configurations.
2. Managing our client’s website changes and issues they will need help with and answering WordPress support questions they may have.
3. Customizing new website design layouts when needed.
4. Customizing plugins with new functions when needed.
You don’t need to understand how to do all of the above to get started, but you must be willing to learn all of the above to get started.
We will provide all of the learning courses and other resources for free.
Full-Time Position
140 hours per month
7 hours per day
5 Days per week: Monday – Friday. Holidays Off.
While daily work is expected, the hours for this position are flexible.
This position is long term position for a growing software startup. A few things you will have/get:
-get paid bi-weekly, on-time
-do meaningful work that’s helping basketball trainers live the life of their dreams and help other kids who love basketball improve
-jump on board of a company where there are already current users on the platform
A daily report will be submitted by the worker at the end of each day. This is done primarily through software we use (Trello) which is very easy to use.
Fluent in English – this is the #1 Most Important Attribute.
Willing to Learn and Improve at any new skills required for job (All learning tools, material, and resources will be provided to you for Free)
Comfortable emailing clients in the U.S. in English language.
Must be COMPLETELY Comfortable in WordPress Multisite (Or Willing to Learn)
Comfortable with setting up and creating new Template WordPress websites for clients (All Steps are outlined)
Comfortable in making website adjustments for clients as they send them in through support email.
Comfortable learning and working with WordPress Plugins.

Comfortable with learning to detect and solve WordPress Errors. (Small issues)
Comfortable with learning to work with databases. (Small issues)
Should understand the thoroughly Divi Theme as we only use this theme (Or Must be willing to Learn it continuously)
Ability to customize PHP with themes and plugins (Or Must be willing to learn)
Ability to perform light SEO duties
Ability to Follow a clear checklist of items to do
Ability to handle multiple projects
Ability to create reports on a monthly basis
Willing to be accountable for all work
Willing to communicate any challenges encountered
