The client is looking for a way to try and emulate the functionality of an app when someone clicks through to any of the product info pages, in that they will be able to swipe left and right to move to the other product info pages when on a tablet or mobile. The content they will see will need to be what is currently visible on mobile/tablet for the individual product info pages, we’re looking for the most cost-effective way of adding this swipe feature, so the user experience would be something like:
– visit the homepage on mobile or tablet
– click on the ‘info’ button for one of the products
– user is taken to that product’s individual info page
– option to swipe left or right is displayed (overlaid left/right arrows or similar), allowing the user to view the other individual product pages in a continuous loop in the direction of the way they’ve swiped, without the page refreshing
– because the pages will be longer than the display, when the user swipes to a new page that should start at the top (i.e. not simply start on a level with where the user swiped from the previous page)
At the moment, the best/most cost-effective way we have explored of being able to do this is to use the basics post slider in Divi, which we’re hoping can be customised to achieve the complete functionality detailed above. We’re looking for a developer who can either progress this to achieve the functionality we require or come up with an alternative solution to achieve the same.
Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.
